Middle School Summer Math Program
Summer Math Packets
An A+ Opportunity!

In an ongoing effort to improve our student performance in the mathematics classroom as well as our overall math computation scores on the ITBS test administered in the early fall, the middle school math department has prepared a summer math packet for all rising 6th through 8th graders at St. Mark School. We selected practice sheets that will keep the basic skills required for success in the 2008-2009 academic year sharpened and provide a smooth transition for the start of the new school year. We are unable to provide the printing of the worksheets, but have posted them on the school website (www.stmarkcatholicschool.net) for you to easily access and print them. The worksheets cover skills already covered in the students’ current year and therefore should be a review.

A 100% test grade will be given to each student in the 1st marking period if he/she complete the following:

1) Print all worksheets and place them in a pocket folder preferably with brads.

2) Complete the problems to the best of his/her ability. All work must be shown.

3) Turn in the completed worksheets and folder by Friday August 29, 2008.

It is recommended that you print the worksheets and place them in a folder with brads NOW so that you may begin working in the folder each week during the summer months. We truly appreciate your support and assistance as work together to make St. Mark Catholic School the best it can be!
