Baking
Committee - Chairperson:
Marianne Hlebak
Volunteers provide baked goods for various school functions
throughout the school year. This committee is great for those who want
to volunteer but can't spend time at school.
Beautification - Chairperson: Kevin Bellinger
Committee members work together in the planning and implementation of
grounds improvements to make St. Mark a beautiful site.
Bingo
Night - Chairs: Barb Brown, Laura Cedrone & Alexandra Collins
A fall family fun night that includes playing bingo for
prizes, raffles and pizza. Committee members are needed to coordinate
this event, to sell cards, call numbers, obtain and disburse prizes,
serve pizza and drinks, and set up and clean up.
Decorating Committee - Chairs: Georgette McMahon & Dawn Perrott
This committee provides seasonal decorating, as
well as hallway and bulletin board decorating that highlights teachers
and classes throughout the year.
End of Year Party - Chairperson: Dawn Bonen-Clark & April Agosto
This annual event celebrates the end
of the school year with a social for the entire St. Mark School family
to enjoy. Last year's outdoor carnival was a huge success with activities
that included a Velcro wall, Karaoke and many games. Committee
members will organize and coordinate this event.
Hospitality
- Chairperson:
Tara Kane
Volunteers
will help organize and serve refreshments at various school functions
throughout the year such as the fall and spring Band concerts, musical
performances, Carols in the Courtyard in December and others.
Ice
Cream Social - Chairperson: Mary Anne Bolton
At this “Welcome Back to School” event, committee
members help students build their own sundaes during all lunch periods
soon after school starts.
Meals
for the Teacher Conferences - Chairperson: Kathy Ducey
Volunteers help coordinate
and prepare meals and snacks for the teachers during the day and
evening
of parent/teacher
conferences held at the end of the first quarter.
Open House and Tours - Chairperson: Linda Larkin
Volunteers help organize
and give tours of St. Mark to prospective families during the
MACS
Open House at St. Mark in
October and throughout the school year.
Welcoming Committee - Chairs:
Alicia Cairon & Katya Woodworth
This committee
organizes events to provide opportunities for new parents and
students to meet
one another, as well as to
become acquainted with current school families. Events include a summer social
held prior to the start of school, an off site adult-only social in September, and a Newcomer's Coffee during the school year.
Trivia Night - Chairs: Lisa Ritchie & Leigh Polzella
A FUN, adult-only social evening
that includes gathering a team of players to share a table, play
trivia and enjoy appetizers and great company.
. Volunteers coordinate the date, organize the trivia questions and "callers" to
read questions, grade answers, set up, and clean up for this event.
