My name is Debbie Butler, and I have been the principal of St. Mark Catholic School since 2004.  This is such a wonderful place to work, and I am very proud to be here.  I have worked in the Catholic school system for many years.  I came to administration after working as a teacher and then an assistant principal.

The staff at St. Mark is dedicated to the faith and academic growth of each student in our K-8 school.  I have witnessed incredible change and progress to the school facility over the years due to the immense involvement of the parents through the many active orgranizations that contribute.

St. Mark Catholic School is one of eight in the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools.  Diocesan-wide there are nineteen schools.  We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Council on Accredidation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
